Alba Spectrum Group, one of the pioneering SAP Business One integrators and
implementers in Brazil shares with the mass media the implementation experience in
Beverage and Juices industry for multinational corporation with production and
distribution&logistics facility in Brazil.

One of the challenges of ERP selection was the fact that corporation deploys
Microsoft Dynamics GP/Microsoft Great Plains in the headquarters and Great Plains is
not localized and supported by Microsoft Business Solutions in Brazil (our company
was localizing Microsoft Great Plains 7.5 for Brazilian market in 2004, when all the
sudden MBS decided to concentrate on Navision, currently Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
Besides the fact that SAP BO has integration module to high end SAP ERP: SAP R/3,
mySAP, SAP Business One is extremely flexible in custom integration - and this was
the main stake for the SAP BO ERP implementation for Brazilian subsidiary. We used
export from SAP BO and deploying Microsoft Dynamics GP Great Plains Integration
Manager module to move GL transactions to US-based corporate MRP. Also we see the
potential for PerformanceSoft PBViews implementation.

SAP Business One is localized for Brazilian tax code and has Brazilian Portuguese
interface option, multicurrency support and recommended for manufacturing and
servicing facilities of multinationals
